Amadi Blue - Nigerian-Dutch R&B and Afro artist performing live

Amadi Blue

Amadi Blue – The Future of Afro RnB Amadi Blue isn't just an artist—he's a movement. His name, meaning happiness, gratitude, creativity, and freedom, reflects his journey: bold, authentic, and ever evolving. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in the Netherlands since 12, he blends the soul of RnB with the pulse of Afro sounds, creating something fresh and undeniable.

Starting as a hiphop artist, he signed a publishing deal with CTM Entertainment in 2017, collaborated with Dave East, and wrote for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. In 2018, he made history as the first European artist signed to Empire (home to Kendrick Lamar & Snoop Dogg) before joining Left Lane Recordings (Mr. Probz's label). But his true sound was still taking shape.

Amadi fuses R&B and Afro—crafting a new wave in Afro RnB. His track "Weyu" has soared past 10M+ Spotify streams, while collaborations like "Speed Dial" (ft. Ir-Sais) and "Time of Your Life" (ft. The Game, featured in Vice) prove his global reach. His independent hit "Two Birds" (2M+ streams) continues to grow, solidifying his place in the scene.

With his debut EP, "The Good Type of Bad" (2024), and a lot of singles coming in 2025 Amadi Blue isn't following trends—he's creating them. Different by Default, pushing boundaries, and just getting started.
